Step 1 - First Load

Step 3 - Operation: Videos and Photos

Step 4 - Loop Recording and Segmentation
To ensure your files are managed efficiently and securely, the device works as follows:
- File segmentation: The videos are automatically saved in 5-minute fragmentsFor example, if you make a 7-minute recording, you will find two files in the memory: one of 5 minutes and another of 2 minutes.
- Loop Recording: You don't have to worry about the memory filling up; when the card reaches its maximum capacity, the device starts to automatically overwrite the oldest files. That way, you'll always have room for the most recent recordings.
Step 5 - Setting Date, Time and Modes
To adjust the timestamp on your videos or enable motion detection, you need to modify the internal configuration file:
- Connecting to the device: Connect the device directly to your computer's USB port (or using the included cable if required by your model). The system will recognize it as an external storage device.
⚠️Important note: Do not remove the microSD card to edit this file externally; always do so with the device connected to avoid read errors.
- File editing: Locate and open the document called TIME.txtModify the line of text, strictly respecting this format:
- YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS (Year-Month-Day Hour:Minutes:Seconds).

- Y: Hold down the "Y" if you want the date and time to appear on your recordings.
- N: Switch to "N" if you prefer that the videos do not show any timestamps.
- Activate Motion Detection: To enable this feature, add a M at the end of the line.

Step 6 - Reset

Step 8 - Transfer files
- To view, organize, or save your recordings, you can access the device's memory in two ways:
- Direct connection: Connect the USB Spy directly to a free port on your computer.
- Card usage: Remove the microSD card and insert it into a card reader compatible with your device.

Frequent Problems
Why does the device immediately turn off when I try to turn it on?
