Is it compatible with all networks?

This portable wifi router works inserting a MicroSIM card. Through the mobile data internet from our operator It provides connection to the devices that connect. Instructions

Step 1 - Opening the lid

La The cover of the portable Wi-Fi router can be opened with a fingernail. on the side tab.

Step 2 - Remove Battery Protector

La battery includes a plastic protector that must be removed in order to use the product.

Step 3 - Remove SIM PIN Code

To use the SIM card with the Router it is need to temporarily remove the SIM pin code. You can find the setting on your mobile in security, privacy or similar settings. If you don't find the option, search on google: “remove sim card pin code + mobile model/brand”.

Step 4 - Insert SIM Card and Battery

Enter the Micro SIM card as shown in the image first sliding the tray and checking the orientation of the card.

Can use the included NanoSIM to MicroSIM adapter Checking that it is inserted correctly. To make insertion easier, you can apply double-sided tape to hold the card firmly to the adapter.

Insert the battery with the correct orientation so that the gold terminals make contact.

Step 5 - Power On, Power Saving and Status Display

To turn on the wifi router, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

After about a minute It will connect to the network and display:

  1. Signal level and connection type
  2. Battery percentage
  3. Wifi On/Off and connected devices
  4. Mobile operator
  5. Number of unread SMS

Below is the name of the Wi-Fi network, the password and the mobile data consumed. The Wi-Fi network name and password can also be checked on the sticker behind the battery.

By default it will be:

  • Wi-Fi network name: 4G-MIFI-****
  • Password: 1234567890

The portable wifi router will automatically turn off wifi after 5 minutes without any wifi device connected. To reactivate the Wi-Fi network, press the on/off button once.

Suppose the operator does not appear or "NO SIM" appears. In that case, we must verify that we have removed the MicroSIM PIN, the orientation of the inserted MicroSIM card, that there is coverage and that we have mobile data enabled on our operator. Also check the compatible bands in your country (click here to check it – The bands of the portable WiFi router are 4G/FDD:B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28* | 4G TDD:B38/39/40/41 | 3G WCDMA:B1/B5/B8).

Step 6 - Configuration and Hide Wifi Network

From a device connected to Wi-Fi We can consult all the parameters and change the configuration by entering the url from a browser: 192.168.0.1 and entering: admin in username and password.

We can modify the name of the wifi network and its password in Router>User Management.

Remember first configure the devices that you will use with the router like your mobile, computer or spy camera.

- Remove SIM PIN on a mobile and activate the card verifying that you receive calls and have mobile data

- turn on the router holding the button down for 3 seconds (remember to remove the battery sticker from the router)

- connect to router on a mobile or computer and put url in browser: 192.168.0.1

- In username and password, put: admin and access

– In the top menu, access «wireless" and later "Wireless Security Settings«

– Change the option of «Network Visibility Status» to Invisible

– Finally, click on «Save»In the lower right corner

Step 7 – Factory Reset, Charging and Shutdown

To reset the wifi router we must open the lid and while it is on hold the reset button until the lights go out. 

After wait 30 seconds approximately to factory reset

To delete the portable wifi router, press and hold the on/off button for 3 seconds.

El router can be charged with the included MicroUSB-USB charging cable connected to a charger of maximum 2.0A. while this charging battery icon will flash y when it is fixed the battery will be fully charged.

Frequent Problems

Why won't it turn on?

If the portable wifi router does not turn on or does not charge, check:

  • The plastic protector has been removed from the battery connectors.
  • La battery orientation in router is correct making contact between the gold terminals of the portable wifi router and the battery.
  • Use the included cable connected to a charger up to 2,0A and 5V.

Why don't you have a signal?

Review the following steps:

  • La MicroSIM card orientation is correct (Step 3 in the instructions)
  • You have mobile data on your line.
  • Ha removed sim pin.
  • Hay coverage in the area.
  • El router is loaded and we have restarted it.
  • Ha Tried with another SIM card from another operator.
  • The compatible bands of the product match those of your country:

I forgot my password, what do I do?

If you have forgotten the password or it does not work because the router configuration is incorrect, you must factory reset it. For factory reset the wifi router we must open the cover and while it is on, press and hold the reset button until the lights turn off.
