Instructions
Step 1 - Download the Application
To manage the camera from your smartphone, you need to use the app. LookCam:
Download LookCam from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
When opening it for the first time, make sure accept all permissions that it asks you for; this is key to ensuring the configuration doesn't fail and the app works correctly.
Step 2 - Power On and Configuration in AP (Point-to-Point) Mode
To activate the device, simply connect the power strip to a wall socket. The charging specifications are printed on the back of the power strip.
Wait a few moments until one lights up steady blue lightThis indicates that the system is already creating its own WiFi configuration network.
Go into your mobile's WiFi settings and look for the network that starts with F... (It's an open network without a password) and connect.
⚠️ If your phone asks if you want to maintain the connection even though you don't have internet, tell it that yes.
Open the LookCam app. You'll see a message on the screen:
To configure remote WiFi: Tap on "OK".
For home use only (Local Mode): Tap on “Cancel”The camera will appear as "Online". If it asks you to set a new password, you can do so or skip it; the initial password is 123456.
Nota: In local mode, the maximum connection distance between the mobile phone and the power strip is about 25 meters.
Step 3 - WiFi Synchronization (Remote Control)
If you want to view the camera from anywhere outside your home, follow these steps from the app's main screen:
Tap the gear icon (settings) located next to the camera.
Choose "WiFi Settings"Choose the name of your home network and enter the password.
⚠️ Make sure your WiFi network is from 2.4 GHzbecause the 5G bands are not compatible.

Step 4 - Tools and Visualization
Tapping on the camera icon will take you to the live menu where you can:
Observe the image in real time.

Review and download saved videos.
Step 5 - Restart and Shutdown
If the device malfunctions, you have two ways to reset it:
From the app (easier): Remove the camera from the device list within LookCam. This will clear the current settings.
Manual reset:
Unplug the power strip and remove the 4 screws from the rear to access the internal module.
With the power strip open (and very carefully), plug it into the outlet.
Hold down the reset button which is on the side of the internal module.
The system will restart and you will be able to configure it from scratch.
To delete The team, you just have to unplug it.
Step 6 - Installing the microSD card (Optional)
Although you can save your files directly in the app, if you prefer to have the files physically stored on the power strip:
Unplug the equipment and remove the 4 screws from the base.
Carefully open the casing and locate the camera module slot.

Close the power strip again and replace the screws to return it to its original position.

Why won't the camera connect to Wi-Fi?
The first thing to do is confirm that your router is broadcasting on the band of 2.4 GHzThis technology does not work with 5 GHz networks. Also, make sure you have entered the password correctly and that the camera's signal is visible in your phone's settings. If you continue to have difficulties, perform a factory reset following the steps indicated in point 5 of this guide.
