Instructions
Step 1 - Download the App
Search for "StarEye" in the app stores for Android or iOS and install it on your mobile phone or tablet.
Step 2 - Connecting to the device
A. 4G connection
- Insert a compatible active SIM card.
- Turn on the device.
- hold the button RESET for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
- The camera will automatically connect to the network.
- Flashing blue light: connecting
- Fixed blue light: connection successful
- Flashing blue light: connecting
B. WiFi connection
- Tap "Add Device" in the app.
- Select "WiFi Camera".
- Enter your WiFi network details (2.4 GHz only).
- Follow the steps until the device is connected.
C. Connection via access point (AP)
- In the app, select "Connect via AP."
- Find and connect to the device's WiFi network (type name: XYX-XXXXX).
- Return to the app and select your real Wi-Fi network to complete the setup.
Step 3 - Status LED Indicators
- Blue and red flashing rapidly: Device not restored/new
- LED off: Restored successfully
- Red blinking slowly: Waiting for WiFi connection
- Solid red: No network
- Blue flashes rapidly and red solid: Abnormal network
- Solid blue: Connected correctly
- Slow flashing blue and steady red: Updating firmware
Step 4 - Functions in the StarEye app
- Live Viewing: Check the camera in real time.
- Record video: Manual or automatic by PIR detection.
- Reproduction: Access videos recorded on the SD.
- Notifications: Receive alerts for movement.
- Night vision: Manual activation/deactivation.
- Microphone and speaker: Two-way communication (if available).
- Battery and signal: Check status from the interface.
- Cloud storage: (optional if available).
- Image rotation and full screen.

Frequent Problems
Does the camera work without WiFi?
Yes. With an active SIM card, it only works with 4G network.
Can I record offline?
Yes. If you insert a microSD card, you can record offline. The video is saved automatically.
How do I perform a factory reset?
- Press and hold the RESET button for 8 seconds with the camera on.
- The red light will start blinking slowly: reset complete.
The app can't find the camera, what do I do?
- Make sure you are connected to a 2.4 GHz network.
- Reset the device with the RESET button.
- Please try pairing again in the app.
