Instructions

Step 1 - Initial Preparation

  1. Insert a nano SIM card with GSM network and mobile data (no PIN code).
  2. Download the application 365GPS from the App Store or Google Play.
  3. Charge the device for at least 1 hour before first use.
  4. Insert the SIM and press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. To turn off the device, press and hold this button for at least 9 seconds.
  5. Tap the + button in the app and scan the QR code on your device.
  6. Set a username and password

Step 2 - Interpreting the LEDs

  • Red: Battery level
    • Rapid blinking = low battery
    • Slow blinking = normal level
  • Yellow: GSM signal
    • Slow blinking = connected
    • Fast blinking = searching for network, if it does not change to slow blinking follow step 3 to configure the APN parameter.
    • Fixed = SIM not valid or no signal
  • Blue: GPS
    • Rapid blinking = searching for a signal
    • Slow blinking = GPS active

Step 3 - Configure APN

If the yellow LED flashes rapidly you must configure the APN parameter:

  1. Send an SMS with the command: imei# and wait for the response message.
  2. Search Google for your phone company's APN settings.
  3. Send the command APN#parameter# or the parameter APN#parameter#account#password# If your telephone company requires you to enter the APN account and password values
  4. Turn off the device by holding down the ON/OFF button for 9 seconds and turn the device back on by holding down the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
  5. Check if the yellow LED flashes slowly after 20 seconds.

Step 4 - Features in the 365GPS App

A. Real-time tracking

  • View exact location via GPS, WiFi or LBS (depending on the environment).
  • The signal type is displayed on the main screen next to the map.

B. Location History

  • Select a date range to view routes up to 3 months back.

C. Geofence (safety zone)

  • Establish a safe zone on the map.
  • If the pet enters or leaves, an immediate alert notification is sent.

D. SOS button (if the model includes it)

  • Pressing it makes a call and sends an SMS to the linked number.

E. Other useful functions

  • Search device: rings the pager to find it.
  • Remote shutdown/restart: from the app.
  • Do not disturb mode: Silences the device at specific intervals.
  • Power saving mode: enters deep sleep to extend battery life.

Step 5 - SMS Commands (alternative to using the app)

  • imei# → Request the IMEI of the device
  • pwrst → Reset the default password
  • 1122 → Restore factory settings
  • time#10 → Update interval (in minutes)
  • LED#on / LED#off → Turns the device's LEDs on/off
  • APN#internet → Configure the network APN if necessary
  • sysrst → Remote device reboot
  • link#1# / link#0# → Turn location and mobile data on/off
  • 6666#on# → Activate vibration alert
  • pwonoff#0,0,10#0,2,0 →  Set automatic on/off cycles

Frequent Problems

Why won't it connect to the network?

  • Make sure the SIM has balance and mobile data.
  • Check that you do not have an active PIN.
  • Check that the yellow LED is blinking slowly (connected status).

Why doesn't it locate?

  • Use the device outdoors or near a window for better GPS signal.
  • Indoors, location may depend on WiFi or LBS (less accurate).

It doesn't recognize the SIM, what do I do?

  • If the yellow LED is solid, the SIM is not inserted correctly or is incompatible.
  • Try another 2G (GSM) network SIM.
