Step 1 - Opening, Charging and SIM

The Magnetic GPS Locator requires a NanoSIM card without PIN code and with internet. You can find the setting on your mobile in security, privacy or similar settings. If you don't find the option, search on Google: “remove SIM card pin code + mobile model/brand”. When the SIM PIN has been removed slide the Nano SIM card tray and lift it up, pose the NanoSIM card to fit according to the drawing and close the tray by sliding it again.

Step 2 - MicroSD

The MicroSD card will allow store captured recordings with the integrated microphone. It is not necessary if this function is not going to be used.

Introduce before power on and after inserting the Nano SIM card the MicroSD in the slot located above the tray according to the drawing. It is recommended to format the card to FAT 32 format and use a card with a Class 10 transfer speed. The minimum size allowed is 2 GB and the maximum 32 GB.

Step 3 - Power On/Off, Status Lights and APN

  • Red light - Battery status | Fast Flashing – Low Battery | Slow Flashing – Battery Greater than 15%.

After switching on and waiting for at least 3 minutes 3 situations may occur:

  • Yellow Light Slow Flashing – The GPS Locator is connected to the internet and we can move on to the next step.
  • Steady Yellow Light – The SIM card has been inserted incorrectly, the SIM PIN has not been removed or the card does not have an internet rate enabled.
  • Yellow Light Fast Flashing – The SIM card reading is correct and it has been connected to the GSM network (telephone line) but it is not possible to connect to the GPRS network (internet). Follow the next step.

For configure the APN If it has not been configured automatically, the following steps must be followed:

  1. Send an SMS to the SIM number that has been entered into the tracker while it is on with the message: imei#
  2. After receiving the IMEI in response, send APN parameters from our telephone company that we can search on Google by writing: APN configuration + "Telephone company".
  3. Send the APN parameters following the scheme: APN#parameter#account#password# (indicating in parameter, account and password the values ​​indicated by our company) or send alone: APN#parameter# if username or password is not necessary. We will receive as a response “Setting Successfully Online Parameter!” confirming the change of APN settings.

Step 4 - Location by Application

Step 4.2 - Login and Permissions

  • GPS – When the GPS locator is at outdoors or in an area with good connection will connect to GPS satellites providing a precise location.
  • Wi-Fi – The GPS Locator can connect to the Wi-Fi that we select and get the location using the MAC address.
  • LBS – The GPS Locator will provide a estimated location based on the connection to the GSM signal tower.

Location accuracy is essential in the use of the locator. Depending on the technology used, the precision will be:

  • GPS - 10 meters outdoors
  • Wi-Fi - Between 50 and 500 meters. It is based on the MAC address provided by the Wifi network may be restricted in your country, for example in Germany.

  • Find device – Makes a sound to locate the GPS. In this model, as it does not incorporate a speaker this feature is not supported.
  • Battery saving – Allows you to activate/deactivate the ultra-energy saving mode by turning off the location and the LEDs.
  • Assistance – Configuration of connection to Wi-Fi networks scheduled according to the days of the week.
  • Alarm – Activate/deactivate up to 3 alarms on the GPS locator. Since it does not have a speaker or vibration, this feature is not supported.
  • Do not bother – Setting a schedule in which we will not receive alerts or calls from the GPS locator.
  • Information – Shows the activity history of the GPS locator.

Step 4.5 - Settings and Remote Control

Step 5 - SMS Commands

  • imei# – indicates the IMEI number.
  • pwrst – resets the password to the default.
  • 1122 – factory reset.
  • time#minute or md#second – update location every 1-120 minutes (minute) or 10-60 seconds (second)
  • LED#on or LED#off – turn the LED on or off.
  • sysrst – reboot.
  • link#0# – shutdown of mobile data/internet and location.
  • link#1# – turning on mobile data/internet and location.
  • pwonoff#day,hour,minute#day,hour,minute – automatic on and off according to interval. For example pwonoff#0,0,10#0,2,0 means it will turn on for 10 minutes, turn off and turn on again in 2 hours.
  • 000#number#number#number# – 1 to 3 phone numbers must be indicated, with #number# necessary for each one. This is used to indicate the numbers to which SMS will be sent or called when the functions are activated.
  • 222 - record and save to microSD for 10 minutes, then pause and re-record another 10 minutes if >60dB.
  • 333 – automatic call if sound is detected near the locator.
  • 444 – erased all microSD storage.
  • 555 – shutdown of all functions.
  • 666 - activate automatic call when the locator detects nearby sound higher than 60dB
  • 777 – deactivate automatic call when the locator detects nearby sound higher than 60dB

Frequent Problems

1 - Does not turn on
