Instructions
Step 1 - Opening and Inserting microSD
Smoke detector hides a compartment for the MicroSD slot.
At open the rear compartment it is due to Turn the rear cover counterclockwise.
When inserting the microSD into the slot we must push the microSD until you hear a click, and push again to extract it. It is recommended to format the card to FAT 32 format and use a card with a Class 10 transfer speed. The minimum size allowed is 2 GB and the maximum 64 GB.
Step 2 - Load
The battery is shipped with a low charge. It must of charge with a USB charger.
The smoke detector emits a Red light while charging that turns off when charging is 100%:
El charging time is about 2-3 hours when connected to a 1 amp charger at 5 Volts (
Maximum 5V 1.0A, using more amperage will reduce battery life).
Step 3 - Power On/Off
Turn on the smoke detector by moving the switch to "WE".
After a few seconds The red LED will turn on steadily and the blue LED will flash.
At delete, move the switch to the OFF position.
Step 4 - Wifi Remote Viewing
Step 4.1 - Application Download
Download the LookCam app on your mobile by pressing the Android or App Store (iPhone) icon depending on the model of your device.
Step 4.2 - Wifi connection
On ignition wait at least 1 minute for wifi to be activated. When Wi-Fi is activated, a blue and red light will flash. Next, access the mobile's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the G wifi network… If a notice appears when connecting indicating that this Wi-Fi network does not have internet and showing the option to maintain the connection or disconnect it, we must maintain the connection.
Step 4.3 - Viewing and Configuration
The application will recognize the Wi-Fi of the device to which we are connected and we will be able to view the live image. This allows you to view it in local mode connected to the camera's Wi-Fi, but the configuration for remote viewing has not yet been completed.
Pressing in gear icon On the main screen we can modify the camera parameters and connect the camera to a Wi-Fi network:
- Connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
- Grant all permissions in the app.
- Click OK in the message that appears when you open the app or on the gear wheel on the camera that will have detected the app automatically.
- If you have clicked on the gear wheel, click on Wifi setting.
- Select the Wi-Fi network to which the camera will connect. The Wi-Fi network must be 2.4GHz type.
- Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network.
- Confirm the configuration.
When the connection is successful the blue led will stop flashing and you will return to the main screen of the app. We can view the camera from anywhere with internet.
Step 4.4 - Display Settings
Through the application we can adjust some parameters visualization such as night vision or turning off the detector LEDs.
The detector includes a microphone which can be activated by clicking on the speaker icon in the lower left corner and increasing the volume.
Step 4.5 - Share Access
Open the application and click on the icon in the upper right corner +. Next, click on “Add new online Camera”.
From the mobile used to configure the detector Click on the gear icon to display the Camera ID.
IEnter the ID and default password: 123456 or the password we have established.
Step 5 - Reset
If the product is failing or we want to restore factory settings, while it is on, Press the reset button located to the right of the microSD slot until it clicks and hold for at least 5 seconds. Then wait 1 minute for the reset to complete.
After factory resetting the device, you must delete the camera in the app by clicking on the gear wheel and «Delete device».
Frequent Problems
1 - Does not turn on

Enter the microSD into a computer and check that you can read it.
