Step 1 - Load
It is necessary to charge the product before its first use. To charge the battery Connect the USB with the switch OFF to the USB port of a powered-on computer. El charging time is about 1,5 hours when connected to a charging from a USB port or a 5 Volt 1 Amp charger (Maximum 5V 1A, if more amperage is used, the useful life will be reduced or the battery will stop working).

Step 2 - Power On/Off, Recording and Playback
To turn on, first press the top button so that it is not pressed and then situate the switch inside the pen in position ON (switch position closest to the LED). Audio files are limited to maximum 99 files in memory, so they must be moved to the computer regularly.

Step 3 - Settings
To modify various parameters of the Recorder Pen connect via USB with cable included to a computer and open the file recset.txt.

- The BIT value allows adjust recording quality from 0 to 9 for the values 192/32/64/128/192/384/512/768/1024/1536Kbps respectively. Settings 1 to 4 save files in the lowest quality format .MP3 and values 0 and 5 to 9 in the high quality file format .WAV.
- The GAIN value defines microphone sensitivity in the range from 1 to 7, with 7 being the most sensitive.
- The PART value corresponds to the minutes in which files will be split of recordings, with a range of 10-240min.
- The VOR value establishes the sound detection recording. The possible values are from 0 to 5, 0 being the deactivation of recording by sound detection (continuous recording, even if there are no sounds). The Values from 1 to 5 establish the sensitivity, with 1 being the least sensitive and 5 the most sensitive (activation with fewer decibels).

Frequent Problems

2 - Does not store
There may be a problem with the file system or the battery. First Please check if your computer recognizes the Pen turned on and connected by USB. Then try formatting it in FAT32 format by previously doing a Backup of the files.
3 - Does not play
