Instructions

Step 1 - Access to the internal panel

To manipulate the device's hidden technology, you must open the casing:

  1. Press the top tab of the air freshener.

  2. The front cover will open downwards, revealing the control panel, memory slot, power switch, and charging port.

Step 2 - Battery charging

It is essential to perform an initial load to ensure the stability of the WiFi system during configuration:

  1. Connect the USB cable to the device's internal port.
  2. Use a charger 5V and 2A.
  3. The recommended charging time is 5 to 6 hours.

Step 3 - Memory Installation (Optional)

If you need the device to autonomously save video evidence:

  1. Insert a card microSD up to 128GB (Class 10 or higher) in the side slot.

  2. Press until you hear the clickMake sure it is formatted in FAT32.

Step 4 - Installing the App

  1. Download and install the app TuyaSmart on your smartphone.
  2. Create an account or log in.

Important: Grant all permissions (location, Bluetooth and network) so that the app can detect the camera.

Step 5 - Power On and Indicators

Slide the internal switch to the position ON:

  1. You will see a steady red light for a few seconds.

  2. Shortly afterwards, the red light will turn off and it will begin to a blue light flashes rapidly.

  3. This blue blinking indicates that the camera has created its own WiFi network and is ready to connect.

Step 6 - WiFi Setup

To connect the air freshener to the internet and view it from anywhere, follow these steps within the app. TuyaSmart:

  1. Push the button "+" o "Add device".

  2. In the left side menu, choose “Camera and blocking” and then select the icon of “Smart security camera (Wi-Fi)”.

  3. Search the Right upper corner a dropdown menu and make sure it appears "WiFi Mode".

  4. Balance "Following" until you reach the mode selector.

  5. Choose AP mode.

  6. Select your home WiFi network (it must be from 2.4 GHz) and enter the password correctly. Press "Following".

  7. The app will prompt you to connect your phone to the camera's hotspot. Press the button. “Go to connect”This will take you to your phone's WiFi settings.

  8. Look in the list of networks for one that starts with “SmartLife-XXXX” and connect to it.

    • If your mobile phone warns you that this network "has no internet", tap on "Keep connected" o "Accept"It is essential not to disconnect from it.

  9. Return to the TuyaSmart app. You'll see a percentage circle. Keep your phone near the air freshener until the process is complete.

  10. Visual Confirmation:

    • Blue light flashing: Linking.

    • Steady blue light: The device is now connected to your WiFi and ready to use.

Step 7 - Remote Control and Functions

From the App's main panel you can:

  • Watch the live video and listen to the ambient audio.

  • Activate the Motion detection to receive alerts on your mobile phone.

  • Review the recordings stored on the microSD card.

  • Take photos or record clips directly to your phone's memory.

  • Manage and view recordings stored on the microSD

Step 8 - Restart and Shutdown

If you detect a malfunction or want to connect the camera to a different network:

  1. With the device turned on, press and hold the button Reset with a clip during 5 seconds.

  2. The system will restart. Wait for the rapid blue flashing to return to repeat the setup.

To turn off the computer After use, slide the module button to the OFF positionAll the lights will turn off.

Step 9 - Real Air Freshener Function

For complete camouflage, you can activate the spray:

  1. Open the casing and insert two batteries in the air freshener mechanism compartment.

  2. Insert a standard fragrance refill.

  3. Select the time interval (9, 18 or 36 min) on the side switch of the mechanism.

  4. Close the case and place the device in the desired location.

What do I do if the camera doesn't appear in the app?

If the device won't pair, check these key points:

  • LED status: Make sure the blue light is on blinking rapidlyThis indicates that it is in configuration mode.

  • WiFi network: Confirm that your mobile is connected to a network 2.4 GHzbecause the camera is not compatible with 5 GHz networks.

  • Mobile permissions: It is essential to have the Bluetooth and Location so that the app can detect the device.

  • reset: If none of the above works, perform a Reset (hold the button down for 5 seconds) and repeat the process from the beginning.

The image looks dark or blurry, how do I fix it?

To ensure the best video quality:

  • Check that the internal lens is perfectly aligned with the opening in the housing.

  • Clean the outer opening and lens with a soft cloth to remove dust or fingerprints.

  • Make sure the air freshener is placed at an angle with adequate front lighting.

Why does remote monitoring fail or become unstable?

If the camera frequently disconnects from the app:

  • Make sure your router is broadcasting on 2.4 GHz.

  • Check that the air freshener has good WiFi coverage in the exact place where you placed it.

  • Try restarting both the router and the camera.

  • Important: If you have changed your home WiFi password, you will need to reset the camera and set it up again.

The videos are not being saved to the microSD card, why?

If local recording fails, check the following:

  • Insertion: Confirm that the card is properly inserted (you should hear the click).

  • Format: The card must be formatted in FAT32 or exFAT from a computer before using it.

  • Quality: Make sure you use a microSD card up to 128 GB Class 10 or higher to support Full HD recording speed.
